ATT&CK Evaluations

The MITRE Engenuity ATT&CK Evaluations program is a state of the art, impartial assessment of cybersecurity tools and solutions using the MITRE ATT&CK framework. The ATT&CK Evaluations process applies a systematic methodology using a threat-informed purple teaming approach to capture critical context around a solution’s ability to detect or protect against known adversary behavior as defined by the ATT&CK knowledge base. Evaluations are not competitive analysis, and as such do not showcase scores, ranking, or rating. Results from each evaluation are published freely, enabling businesses to make better informed decisions for their cybersecurity outfit.

Center for Threat-Informed Defense

The Center for Threat-Informed Defense is a privately funded research and development center that unites organizations with highly sophisticated security teams to advance threat-informed defense globally. Funded by its participant organizations, the Center for Threat-Informed Defense builds on MITRE ATT&CK, an important foundation for threat-informed defense. Because the Center operates for the public good, outputs of its research and development are available publicly and for the benefit of all.

Safely Operating Aircraft Remotely ™

First Responders are increasingly being asked to use Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) or “drones” and are finding their use vital in time-sensitive, dangerous, and high-risk situations. But there are currently no consistent standards for public safety remote pilot training or credentialing that would ensure UAS are being operated safely. In response to this inadequacy, we have created Safely Operating Aircraft Remotely (SOAR™), which aims to focus on furthering public safety and enriching first responder development with drones.

MITRE Engenuity intends to maintain a website that is fully accessible to all individuals. We work to continually improve the user experience and apply relevant accessibility standards and guidelines.


The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. MITRE Engenuity is continuously improving the website to be conformant, with a goal of maintaining conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines, and WCAG 2.1 AAA whenever it is possible.
