5G Connectivity for UAS Command and Control

The Open Generation 5G Consortium is accelerating use-case driven innovation to identify and overcome safety and operational gaps as well as demonstrate the use of 5G mobile technologies for low altitude UAS applications. This document is an overview of the four use cases that form the basis of the evaluations, testing, and experimentation during the first phase of the work in the Open Generation 5G Consortium. These include Commercial Package Delivery, Static Infrastructure Inspection, Emergency Response, and Indoor Inspection and Security via UAS.
