Enabling 5G Innovation Leadership Through Use Case-Driven Collaboration

MITRE Engenuity’s Open Generation 5G Consortium is making a significant impact by accelerating 5G deployments in the nation through radical collaboration. This position paper details the work we’ve already begun with UAS over 5G, exploring BVLOS, identifying a path forward to deliver an operational transformation in enabling UAS use cases. Authored by collaborators from MITRE and other consortium members, this serves as an introduction into the work Open Generation will continue to do to solve complex problems through use case focused R&D.
