FAA Roundtable: How 5G Will Influence the Future of Aviation

This interactive roundtable is with Art Hinaman who manages the Technology Programs Branch in the FAA’s Office of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Integration, which is responsible for leading FAA’s efforts to safely integrate UAS and advanced air mobility (AAM) operations into the U.S. National Airspace System (NAS). In this video, Mr. Hinaman tells Open Generation members about how 5G technologies may affect FAA’s integration of UAS, and where new 5G empowered capabilities will influence the future of aviation.
